At Fluovac (or Scavanger) you have the relevant filters, which originally weigh 800 grams and must be disposed of (in special waste) when they reach a weight of 1000 grams. the display shows, at the end of the experiment, the weight reached by the filter, and as the critical threshold is approached, an audible alarm also goes off. Under normal working conditions (rodent) a filter lasts about 50 hours of work.
