These 32ga (0.8Fr) PU (polyurethane) catheters are the top for intrathecal injections in rats. The implanted segment is .010in (250 micron) OD polyurethane that then becomes polyethylene (PE) that connects to a 27ga luer fitting, PinPort™ or Vascular Access Button™. The catheter includes a 0.003in (75 micron) OD PTFE-coated stainless steel stylet to facilitate placement.
