Plastic Swivel

Instech’s plastic swivels are designed for researchers who prefer to replace components frequently to avoid cross-contamination and cleaning costs. Compared to Instech’s same stainless steel swivels, these models feature plastic bodies to reduce costs; however, the critical internal components are the same. For example, these swivels feature unique self-adjusting seals, a superior design that has proven reliable in tens of thousands of infusion studies. All models include a plastic clamp for attachment to standard Instech spring-loaded swivels at no additional cost. The bodies are color-coded by gauge, according to international standards. They are available in three sizes, with or without luer entry, packaged and sterilized individually or as part of pre-assembled infusion kits.
