Description
The electronic unit controls tape speed, shows measured data on the display, supplies power to the grid at the end of the corridor, and enables communication with the PC for data storage, via USB output and SeDaCom software (not included). Tape speed can also be controlled by the software. The parameters measured in a test are: tape speed and slope, distance traveled, shock time, and shock intensity. The electric shock provided by the grid is of constant intensity (adjustable from 0 to 2 mA); the effect on the animal therefore depends only on the value of the intensity set and is not affected by changes in the subject such as body mass in contact with the bars, sweating, etc. Single, dual or 5-line RAT and TOPO models available.
