Vascular Access Button™ for Mice – 2 channels

The VAB™ for mice is a transcutaneous port that provides rapid, aseptic access to two catheterized vessels with a syringe for intermittent access or with a ligature for continuous access. Applications include infusion, blood sampling, and intravenous self-administration. The small PinPorts™, one red and one white, are accessed manually with a syringe equipped with a PNP3M injector. The VABM2T/25 ligature uses a PS80 spring, which can be connected to a 25ga low-torque dual-channel swivel. Alternatively, you can connect one line to a single-channel swivel for continuous access and let the second line rotate freely with a PinPort™ for intermittent dosing or sampling, or connect a single-channel VABM1T/25 to the white port, leaving the red port closed. You can choose from three different configurations:

• VABM2JB/25R25 – 14mm polyester felt disc, two 25ga catheter connectors (for 2Fr or 1-2Fr catheters) facing the tail.
• VABM2JBSM/25R25 – 14 mm silicone mesh disc with holes for tissue growth, two 25 g catheter connectors facing sides.
• VABM2VB/25R25 – 10 mm polyester felt disc, two 25 g catheter connectors facing the head.
