Vascular Access Button™ for Rats – 4 channels

This implantable rat VAB connects four independent fluid channels with a simple magnet attachment. It has the same dimensions as the one-channel rat VAB. Four 3Fr catheters can be connected to the 22ga inlets under the felt disc. The small PinPorts™, one red, one white, one green and one blue, can be reached manually with a syringe equipped with a PNP3M injector. The quick-connect magnets are oriented so that the cable can be connected in only one way: the white port connects to the tube with the white strip. For two continuous lines, connect a 25ga dual-channel swivel; alternatively, connect one line to a single-channel swivel for continuous access and let the second line rotate freely with a PinPort™ for intermittent dosing or sampling. Of course, it is also possible to connect a 5-channel swivel for continuous access to all channels of the VAB.
